Thanks to Bill Delaney, the 59-year-old special agent in charge of the Kansas Bureau of Investigation’s Overland Park office, the 1987 slaying of Wyandotte County lawyer and Democratic Party leader Chuck Thompson hasn’t gone cold. “I think we’ve got it solved,” Delaney says. “We just don’t have it resolved.”
